We are proud to announce that Leslie Kompelien has been named the new Director of Texas Promise Academy (TPA).
Leslie brings a deep understanding of student support, campus leadership, and district operations to this role. She served in Klein ISD as an assistant principal at Wunderlich Intermediate, a principal at Ulrich Intermediate, Krahn Elementary, and Strack Intermediate, and most recently as the Klein ISD Director of Operations in Human Resources.
Throughout her career, Leslie has been known for being innovative, committed, and student focused. Those strengths, paired with her broad experience across multiple levels of the organization, make her well equipped to lead Texas Promise Academy as we continue building what will be the premier online learning program for students in the state of Texas.
